Instructions for translators	General Guidelines Translate meaningfully, not literally. Keep the tone warm, supportive, and accessible (MHF is a health companion). Use inclusive language — gender-neutral where possible. Avoid medical jargon unless necessary and approved. Prioritize clarity over elegance. Formatting Rules Preserve placeholders exactly (e.g., {name}, %s, {0}). Respect punctuation and capitalization of the source. Do not translate brand names like MyHealthFriend, Clinikly, etc. Tone Guidelines per Audience Patients (Mobile app): friendly, reassuring, motivational (like “You can do it!”). Clinicians (Clinikly Pro): clear, concise, professional, but not robotic. Notifications: brief, action-oriented (e.g., “It’s time for your check-in!”). Dynamic Content Messages might be shown in various contexts (nutrition, sleep, stress, etc.). If unsure, refer to the comment/context field or ask the team for clarification. Language-specific Notes 🇫🇷 French: Use vous, avoid anglicisms, prefer short and polite phrases. 🇮🇹 Italian: Use lei, respectful tone, avoid overly formal bureaucratic terms. 🇺🇸 English: Prefer American spelling, casual but accurate tone.
